Stirling City Library
On February 28, 2002 Title for three buildings, and approximately half-acre of land,
was passed to the Stirling City Historical Society by the State of California. It was formerly
used by the California Department of Forestry (CDF) which has a large new facility just
behind the Museum complex. For several months many hours of labor went into the
repair and remodeling by volunteers.
Located at 16999 Skyway, Stirling City's Library, as part
of the Museum/Library complex, was dedicated August 16, 2003, during the town's 100
year celebration. Telephone: 530-873-1598.
The purpose of the library is to bring the town together, that it's a fun place
for them to come, and hopefully provide something for kids and adults alike to
do in town.
The library is open (subject to change):

There over 400 hardbacks & paperbacks on the shelf with more to be added.

school, college and adult reading material, research books, romance,
history, mathematics, mystery, games, puzzles. Over 250 video's and DVD's

services for a small fee.
Contributions of books, videos, DVDs, and other materials, are welcomed
and appreciated, as is time you can volunteer to help. Stop by, call 873-1598, or
