Stirling City Museum
On February 28, 2002 Title for three buildings, and approximately half-acre of land,
was passed to the Stirling City Historical Society by the State of California. It was formerly
used by the California Department of Forestry (CDF) which has a large new facility just
behind the Museum/Library complex. The buildings for several months were repaired,
remodeled, and landscaped by volunteers.
Before:
The Museum/Library complex was dedicated August 16, 2003, as part
of town's 100 year celebration.
After:
Located at 16993 Skyway, this two-story building also houses the office of the Historical Society. Next door is the Library. Behind the main buildings is a storage and Workshop building.

Note: The Museum/Library has undergone many changes since it first opened.
The museum is open Saturday and Sunday 1-4 pm. on the 2nd and 4th weekends of the month from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
